Biking in Wyoming's Bighorn Mountains

Off of US Route 16, about 40 miles west of Buffalo Wyoming near Powder River Pass (9666') many National forest roads wonder off the main highway. Any one of them makes for a easy but very scenic rough road ride. These pictures were taken in the vicinity of Sitting Bull Campground where I was staying. The moose was staying there also.

The tallest mountain in the area is Cloud Peak at 13,167'.

Alpine meadows were in full bloom. The elevation here was around 10,000'.

My Cannondale Super V.

No crowds here.

There are tons of these road all through the National Forests all around the country.
