Mecca for mountain bikers can be found in Crested Butte. The expansive openness
of the land, the abundance of colorful wildflowers, dramatic scenery and
the multitude of trails combine to make this place a top get-a-way place.
Isolated from the mainstream, (they do have cable tv) the little town of
Crested Butte is a quaint-historical example of how a great little town
can keep its character. The Mountain Bike Hall of Fame is also here.
