Located in the center of Vermont, Killington offers the mountain biker lots of
long trails that run from the over 4000' summit all the way to U.S. Route 4
at around 1000' elevation. Nice gondolas wisk you to the sometimes cloud shrouded
summit. I found the trails to be in a well kept condition, a bit on the easy side,
technically. This is in stark contrast to the rooty, rocky, technical stuff found
at Mount Snow...about 30 miles south of here. Killington is a full on resort with
lots of other activities. It is expensive, $27 for an adult all day pass.

An example of the trails here.

Rather easy riding. It gets quite steep on the way to the base lift on Rt 4.
A really cool dh ride.

I didn't get to use this padding in any crashes..rather easy but fun riding.
